Robert Bihr Consulting is a real estate appraisal services and consulting firm that serves financial firms and companies that have investment or interest in real estate.

My background as Chief Appraiser for multiple banks over approximately 23 years and nearly four years as a Chief Credit Officer provides a valuable resource and experience base for appraisal due diligence related processes, procedures and policies. My successful ground up implementation of appraisal functions within four banks, extensive understanding of appraisal methodology and due diligence and significant experience with federal banking appraisal regulators provides a unique background. My practical bank credit experience is a valuable addition to my fundamental technical appraisal related experience.

While most of my appraisal experience has been in the primary five most southern California counties, I have significant geographic experience throughout California and the western United States. For example, multiple banks I have worked at have extensive portfolios located in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, New York and locations in between.  In my formative appraisal production years of experience, I valued properties in many states spanning the country.

My real estate appraisal and review experience includes a wide variety of existing and proposed property types, including, 1-4 family, retail, office, industrial, multi-family, vacant land, master planned projects and special purpose real property. Special purpose real estate experience includes golf courses, gas stations, hotels, healthcare facilities, and other special purpose and single use properties, many of which  that had business utilizing the real property as an integral part of the business enterprise.

Education: Mr. Bihr graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Economics.
